This is the official report documenting the inauguration of the Gibson Memorial Chambers on Tuesday, January 12, 1869. The Gibson Memorial Chambers were built to house the Presbyterian College, Belfast, an institution of significant importance to the Presbyterian Church in Ireland. This historical document offers insights into the Presbyterian community in 19th-century Ireland and their commitment to theological education.
The report likely contains details of the speeches, ceremonies, and attendees at the inauguration, providing a snapshot of the social and religious landscape of the time. It is a valuable resource for researchers interested in Irish history, Presbyterianism, and the history of theological education.
