Riley, of Marietta, Ohio, be appointed foreman of the gardens on the county truck farm at Marietta, at a salary of eight hundred dollars per year, with use of house, effective January 1, 1915. On roll call by the secretary the following commissioners voted Aye Messrs. Sandles, Strode and Williams. President declared motion carried. Adjourned. Approved by the Commission, November 17, 1914. The commission met at 2:00 p. m., with the following commissioners present: Messrs. Price, Sandles, Strode and Williams; President Sandles presiding. Minutes of October 13, 14 and November 6, 1914, were read and approved. The commission met in conference in reference to regulations concerning the shipment and slaughter of live stock with Messrs. W. L. Stimson, Greenfield, Ohio; Willis Jones, Mt. Sterling, Ohio; 0. S. Briggs, Washington C. II., Ohio; W. II. Neff, Derby, Ohio; J. C. Murray, Mt. Sterling, Ohio; H. 0. Core, South Charleston, Ohio; A. S. Thomas, Mt. Sterling, Ohio; Nolin Hathaway. Columbus, Ohio, and James F. Rankin, South Charleston, Ohio. John I. Miller, Superintendent of Public Works, appeared before the commission and presented the contract of the lowest bidder for building chutes and screens for the protection of fish in Lewiston Reservoir in Logan County and in the Grand Reservoir, in Mercer county.
