Ibanag belongs to the Cordilleran subgroup of the Malayo-Polynesian branch of the Austronesian language family. This study provides description of the different of the language: phonology, morphology, clause types, the grammar and semantics of nominal markers, pronominals, nominals, adjectives, verbs, adverbs, numerals, existentials, connectors, interrogativity, negation, and syntactic processes.
