The Minor Prophets are often overlooked and misunderstood by many people today. Christians frequently study memorable Old Testament characters such as Noah, Moses, or King David and fail to understand the message and messengers that form the final twelve books of the Old Testament. However, the writings of prophets such as Micah, Jonah, and Amos were intended to prepare readers for the coming of Christ. Through visions, oracles, and dramatic life experiences, the Minor Prophets prophecy and foreshadow the redemptive work of the coming Messiah. In this book, Benjamin Carver invites you to journey with him through a study of the Minor Prophets. Readers will develop a greater understanding of the mission of each prophet during their period of history and how each prophetic book foreshadows the life and ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ. In addition, the study guide at the conclusion of the book makes it a great choice for a Sunday school class or small group study.
