Recollections Of A Foreign Minister: Alexander Iswolsky is a memoir written by Alexander Iswolsky, a Russian diplomat who served as the Foreign Minister of the Russian Empire from 1906 to 1910. The book was published in 1921, a year after Iswolsky's death. In the book, Iswolsky recounts his experiences as a diplomat and his time as a Foreign Minister during a period of great political upheaval in Russia. He discusses his efforts to maintain peace and stability in Europe, particularly in the Balkans, and his role in negotiating various treaties and agreements.Iswolsky also provides insight into the political climate in Russia during his tenure, including the growing tensions between the monarchy and the Russian people, and the increasing influence of revolutionary movements. The memoir offers a unique perspective on the events leading up to World War I and the collapse of the Russian Empire. Iswolsky's recollections provide valuable historical context and shed light on the complexities of international diplomacy during a tumultuous period in world history. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
