Why is it that our reality is so defined by language? The constant narrative in our heads, its endless chatter that dominates our experience, is there any way to let that go? Words, which make up our thoughts and define our feelings, inherently separate us from what is really going on. Those engaged in investigating these concerns, in trying to understand and see through the self, must confront the issue of language. Because words are the primary tools we have to communicate, to express thoughts, feelings and experiences, we must engage with them. Can words be used to help us put down our constant narratives, help us to see through the illusion of separateness?
