The Rainbow Family Crusade: Going into the Highways and Hedges for Jesus This book, The Rainbow Family Crusade: Going into the Highways and Hedges for Jesus, is a story about love, faith, family, and the burden for souls. It tells how the Rainbow Family goes beyond their home, beyond the farm, and beyond familiar places to reach people with the love of Jesus Christ.
The main scripture for this book is Luke 14:23 KJV, which says, And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.
The Rainbow Family believes that the house of the Lord should be filled with souls. They understand that many people are waiting to be invited, encouraged, prayed for, and loved. Some are hungry. Some are hurting. Some are lonely. Some have never been to Sunday School. Some have never heard the message of salvation through Jesus Christ.
Their home church is Gethsemane Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ. From this church, the Rainbow Family begins a soul-winning crusade. They pass out Sunday School tracts, give church invitations, serve meals, play biblical games, pray for people, and witness about Jesus.
Rainbow Auntie Dorine preaches the Word of God with love and boldness. Rainbow Gigi carries the wisdom and prayer legacy of the older generation. Rainbow Bibi reaches children with Sunday School invitations. Rainbow Mommy serves meals with kindness. Faith helps share Bible games and simple words of encouragement.
This book also honors the older generation who prayed, witnessed, served, and taught the family to have a heart for souls. Their legacy continues through the Rainbow Family as they go into the highways and hedges with compassion, truth, and joy.
May this story encourage every reader to care about souls, invite others to the house of the Lord, and remember that Jesus still saves, heals, delivers, and sets free. Be blessed. Minister Dorine Daniels.
