Purposefully Scarred says that whatever trials you face, that's meant to tear you apart (like my scar) are put there in order for you to grow and heal. You have to learn the lessons that the Lord wants you to learn in order to put you back together (like the stitches). Sometimes people go through the same things over and over again, and never understand why. People often use the phrase, I take three steps forward and ten steps back. One misstep while climbing a mountain, could cause you to take a few steps back or end up at the bottom where you started from. Purposefully Scarred is my true story of how I chose to forgive and not be the victim. God was and is still the glue that held me, and he can hold you too.
