I can hear many ask this question. Do we really need another book on the Prophetic? I know...right?! Sadly, yes we do. For all the advances we have made in the last 35 - 40 years that the church at large has been evolving in this Prophetic Restoration that we have, it seems we still have miles to go.

So why me? Why am I writing this book? Why now? These are all valid questions. To be honest, I have been working on this book on and off for over 10 years. I have started and stopped writing it many times, added to it along the way, and I have edited and corrected this book many times through the years.

Many of the things that needed to be corrected some 10+ years ago, when I first had this book drop in my spirit, still need to be corrected now! As I look at where we are I realized:

  • We need to learn the difference between the Manifestation Gift of Prophecy and the Ministry Gift of Prophet.
  • We need to realize that Prophecy speaks unto men for Edification, Exhortation, & Comfort; But a Prophet may give a Word of Correction or Warning that we may not like.
  • We need to learn that Prophecy Releases The Potential Of The Purpose Of God. It is not Automatic.
