Marvin Peterson seems to have everything a college senior would want. In his final semester, he's about to graduate from Dubois University. He's a pending first round draft pick of the prestigious NBA, president of Nu Phi Nu Fraternity, and his friends are supportive in every manner. After moving the family out of the dangerous and debilitating Pruitt-Igoe Housing Projects with the assistance of his secret sports agent, Marvin gets a chance to breathe a sigh of relief. One thing he still has difficulty managing is his desire for the opposite sex. At Dubois, women are plentiful, and Marvin is popular. Hopefully, he doesn't overspend his account knowing that someone may see a big payday ahead from a future NBA prospect. Taylor, his secret love is now in med-school at UC- Berkeley. She is hoping they can keep their flame alive but she's almost 2500 miles away. Has maturity and rationality finally kicked in allowing Marvin to check his base desires? When his eyes accidentally fall on a young lady from his past, all bets are off the table. At home in the projects, one of his younger brothers continue to spiral out of control while leaving a trail of mayhem and murder in his path. Even Marvin, who was once a folk hero back home finds himself among the hunted. Will it be the graveyard or the prison yard for 'Big Man Pete'? He is the author of his own end.Marvin has made plenty of promises over the last few years that he's determined to keep. Some doors have opened while others have closed in his face. The one promise that is most devastating of all was the one taken for granted. An unexpected end may cause his heart to finally go into Cardiac Arrest!
