An enterprise blockchain or distributed ledger technology (DLT) is very much like a shared document stored on a cloud drive. There are just two differences. First, there is no master copy of this document stored with an escrow or arbiter, and second, any change to the document happens only after it has been signed off by all required stakeholders.
