As a practitioner I am writing this book to the other practitioners. The main reason to write this book is, often I have been asked by various practitioners on variety of question about agile, scrum, kanban, devops, scaling agile and implementing agile. Some of the questions look like below: - What is agile? What is agility? What is business agility? Is agile and scrum same? Is kanban a framework under agile? What is scaling agile? What is DevOps and it relates to agile? How do I know that my project is feasible for agile implementation? How do we know the maturity of our agile teams? What are the best practices in agile? There is no end to these questions and I always wondered that there are some basics missing in the way people have understood some basic concepts and also there is no way where they can look and get some direct guidance on the same. Hence I have decided to write a book on the above questions calling Pragmatic Agility. As the book name indicates, this is all about how do you bring agility in your context empirically. The only way of life to improve is inspect and adapt and there is nothing like written on a stone forever. I am hoping that the readers of this book would be able to understand the basic concepts and some tips so that they can implement and improve their way of working. What is in it for you in this book? Understanding the insights of Agile, educating the stakeholders on choosing the agile path, reaching to the tipping point, ways to choose the right framework/methods for implementation, About implementing scrum, kanabn, SAFe, DevOps and more. Various metrcis to be measured and knowing the maturity of the organisation. Becoming a successful organisation, choosing a right agile coach for transformation. There are practical advices at the end of the each chapter. It is purely from the experience by having worked in various agile framework
