About the Author
Meñe has volunteered before for Jennifer Hudson's back to school giveaway called Hatch Day. He loaded bookbags with school supplies and handed them to families in need.
When he is not writing, Meñe enjoys gardening, baking, making candles and soaps, and anything that keeps him busy and learning. Meñe also learned to care for and work with honeybees and he plans to learn how to sew so he can make his own clothing. Meñe is number three of four siblings. His mother was a single mom and his grandmother lived with him. She helped raise him while his mother would work.
During his high school years, he was part of Steppenwolf Theater Young Adult Council program which sparked his creative drive to not just act but to bring a story to life.
