A deeply felt, compelling portrait of a mother, wife, daughter, and friend, Poetic Reflections by poet Tina Marie Leary Girardi is a celebration of the Christian faith. With over two hundred poems in this, her debut collection, she covers the gamut of loss and love to connect the dots between men, women, and God. Ever gracious and encouraging, her straightforward and uncomplicated poems provide comfort in a world of uneasiness and distress. Many readers will find that this inspirational book is the gentle embracing arm of God's love-predictable and warm, comforting and eternal. There are poems of praise, ones of solace; there are also offerings of patriotism, protection, and acceptance. With titles such as A Dream Is a Dream, A Trucker's Prayer, Inside Out of the Snow, and He Loves Me Just Because, the poet faces life head on and without excuse. She teaches what she has learned from experience-the school of hard knocks and the finishing school of giving it all up to God.
