Sitting in my room
thinking what's there outside?
It's 2 in the morning
and I'm dreaming.
Is there a window open?
For my dreams to come true ...
Window opens for opportunities
to have a chance in life
hoping each time is right
and at a right place
with so many things to do
and so many to be fulfilled.
No one should bottle up their emotions or wishes. Fueled by a heartfelt desire to help others understand they are not alone, A.E. White shares poems that spill from her heart and soul and reflect on her life's journey to date.
Within verse that explores the blues and depression, controversies that include societal issues, all aspects of love and heartache, the ups and downs of the teenage years, and more, White reveals a poetic glimpse into her personal experiences as she welcomes and accepts the feelings that accompany living a full life.
Poetic Thoughts is a collection of diverse verse that candidly reflects on the emotional journey of a young woman.
