Her work was previously featured in The Great American Poetry Anthology. Clodagh has always turned to poetry to express herself, and in this book you will find her words crafted from deep within. Here you will find her creativity flowing in abundance just like the flow of the river bearing her name. Writing gives form to feeling which can be overwhelming at times. Grief, although part of life, is never an easy emotion to bear. It comes in waves, and poetry and the creative arts in general, can help to soothe by spreading a healing balm on the troubled waters of the soul. Through her words Clodagh guides us all. Seeking an outlet for dealing with grief and sorrow which resides in the deepest parts of us is something we can all embrace. Her bravery in mining these difficult feelings and turning them into an art form is nothing short of inspirational. Just like Clodagh herself. -Aisling Meath
