Petta is a beautiful girl, inside and out. She is filled with positive character traits and was created to inspire young children to desire these same traits. Petta with a P is a Christian based book. The character was inspired by a beautiful Pastor's wife. She was vibrant, a peace maker and loved the color purple. Petta is designed to encourage children to exemplify servitude, leadership and kindness; most importantly, to know they are loved by our heavenly Father. The author believes it is of upmost importance to teach these important character traits to children very early in their developmental years.
The author deems it equally important for kids to learn their alphabet and have fun while learning. In this particular book the letter P is emphasized on each page for the reader to sound out. The letter P is a great place to start. This sound is simple for kids to make by pressing their lips together. What a great way for kids to learn a letter of the alphabet! Place this book in your classroom or church nursery and let the fun and learning begin. This is a level A book and great for beginning readers.
