Persevere - Great leaders are developed through the trials and challenges they face. Have you ever felt hopeless or like giving up or both? Have you ever wanted something so badly only to have it taken away from you; how did you respond? When your dream is deferred and your hope is bleak will you walk in anger, pride and vanity or will you walk in humility, understanding and love? This is a true story of a young male who was removed and replaced from his leadership position, written from the author's perception. The author could imagine the hurt, the feeling of rejection and the pressure from his peers; however, the author witnessed someone who was willing to Persevere against all odds and exemplify exceptional leadership qualities. The book Persevere is a great tool to use when discussing with your children the true qualities of a great leader.
