Remember when the refrigerator would stop humming and it was only then you realized it was humming? We're so used to being in motion that daily activities become the refrigerator hum, so we often stop thinking about how to change some of them. Having unconsciously accepted them as how it is we become content with the hum while we're on a kind of mental cruise control. We don't stop to think that just seeing things from even a slightly different perspective can be enough to turn the hum off. These aren't just poems. They are word levers. They are changes in perspective. Not perspectives in literature books but those you encounter daily. While reading them you will notice the hum cease.
