In a cosmos mark by increasing polarity, partiality and poverty amidst pandemic, environmental changes and corruption, visions of good give hope to impoverish lives in a chaotic world. The temptation to respond to racism and injustice with justifiable anger and human rights is instinctive and psychical, but is it equitable, just and wise? How is God's righteousness accomplish? (Forward) Words have consequences of life and death. How can we tame the tongue? This devotional commentary imagines James, the brother of Jesus having a conversation with other saints and biblical writers where he leads a reading of his letter for Christians scattered abroad as outliers and exhorting them to persevere in the midst of trials, temptations and injustices accomplishing perfection in bridling the tongue. Divided into 30 short devotional reading, readers participate by hearing the conversations and contribute by recalling other passages of holy scripture, making personal and collective applications of living out his or her faith in acts, and making lógos of life in diaspora odyas disciple practitioners towards Christian perfection through the perfect Torah of freedom.
