Diego Del Toro is a complex study at best: an orphan who suffered abuse at the mysterious hand of someone in a far-off monastery, only to be human trafficked into a situation where corruption and underhanded dealings pervade the fashion world in his country, a place which experiences a curious mixture of transition and anarchy. PERFECT FITTING is also the story of a young man who, similar to Diego, is confused about his direction in life and, most of all, about his sexuality. He seeks solace in the same monastery where Diego was once abused, of all things. How he, Diego plus a whole score of young men come of age and discover many things about themselves and the world around them is the basis for this most intriguing tale. The author originally penned this novel in Spanish, his first in that language, and offers this simultaneous translation/interpretation to his readers. (Note: the pages of the paperback edition are complemented by several appropriate photos, drawings and illustrations.)
