A brilliant combination of modern, yet retro-styled photos of Hong Kong and beyond by young up-and-coming artist Anson H. peels back the layers of Hong Kong in all of its contradictions - the ugly against the beautiful, the modern against the old, the West against the East, family vs friends. Raw, natural and authentic, this photo essay, taken on 2 x 35mm film cameras will inspire young photographers to find the stories within their own neighbourhood. Anson H. is a multimedia content creator from Hong Kong with a deep passion for storytelling in all its forms. He has published this book to show all facets of this unique city, in a unique time and space in history. He's a graduate student and runs a non-profit designed to teach storytelling to special needs children and others. If you're a collector of landscape and city photography, this would be a great addition to your collection.. It's a refreshing alternative to unstylised, un-instagram, over-filtered processed stereotypical social media messes.
