Paradoxa Stoicorum, or Paradoxes of the Stoics, is a work by Marcus Tullius Cicero in which he discusses six famous Stoic paradoxes. Written around 46 BC, the work aims to showcase Cicero's rhetorical skill while also popularizing Stoic philosophy among a Roman audience. Each paradox is presented and then defended by Cicero. The paradoxes challenge conventional wisdom and explore themes of virtue, happiness, freedom, and the nature of good and evil.
