Three bickering sisters learn to work together by helping a two-headed, special needs dragon!
Aliens, fairies, and genies-oh my!
Diona, Nixie, and Brook love each other, but their fighting is out of control. One day, their bickering gets them lost in the woods, where they are each given a special task: find a way to make the Weeping Two-Headed Dragon happy again. If they can do this, they will find both their way home and a great treasure.
Hmm...Cheer up a two-headed dragon, win awesome treasure. Sounds like a good deal, right? The task soon proves to be trickier than any of the three sisters had imagined. To help the dragon and get back home, they must remember that two heads are better than one-and three are even better!
The Puzzle of the Two-Headed Dragon was inspired by the author's work with adults who have autism and other special needs. This book celebrates people of all abilities, including those who are blind, deaf, or nonverbal.
What Readers Are SayingThis is the first children's book written by Christine that I've read and I have to say I am not disappointed, it was imaginative and teaches an important life lesson about family and caring for one another as you would care for your best friends while resolving issues together. It's almost like an old fable meant to teach a moral lesson while also being captivating for an audience of any age from young to old so long as your imagination is alive and kicking...this story is flawlessly fantastic and speaks directly to ones heart and brings out ones own inner child, well done...
