A commemorative poem dedicated to the late Reverend David Saunders, D.D., written by Reverend John T. Job of Aberdare. This pryddest, a traditional form of Welsh verse, serves as both an elegy and a tribute to Saunders' life and work. The poem reflects on Saunders' contributions to religious thought and practice, offering a glimpse into the spiritual and intellectual landscape of 19th-century Wales. As a significant example of Welsh memorial literature, this work provides valuable insight into the cultural and religious values of the period. This heartfelt remembrance captures the essence of Saunders' legacy through the artful use of poetic language and form.
