The Knights Templar, enigmatic, mysterious, feared yet respected by Muslims, operated during the Crusades. They were renowned for their fierce battlefield prowess, banking acumen, and distinctive white mantles adorned with a red cross. But they were not the only military order that fought in the Crusades.
