What comes after death? Nineteen-year-old Gerry Patterson has no time to worry about anything except the challenges of life as a college freshman. That is, until a shockingly realistic daydream gives him a terrifying glimpse into the life of an abused woman in 1890s England. It is not just a daydream. He literally feels her confusion, her pain, her fear.Knowing his parents will not believe him, Gerry turns for help to his girlfriend, Remmy and her second-sighted Aunt Jasmina. Jasmina uses her gift of seeing past lives to help him understand his connection with his former existence. Though wanting to help too, Remmy is struggling with a troubling memory from her own previous existence that threatens to separate her from the love of her life.As they try to cope with these revelations, others from the past appear in the present to take them on a harrowing journey that further challenges their view of reality, and may permanently end their repeated cycles of death and rebirth.
