Proceedings of Fourth Annual Meeting--of--Nevada Bar Association Pursuant to notice, the Fourth Annual Meeting of the Nevada Bar Association was held in the Washoe County Courthouse at Reno, on November 20, 1914. Owing to the illness of President George S. Brown, VicePresident Charles S. Chandler called the meeting to order at 10 o'clock a. m., and the Secretary recorded the minutes as follows: FIRST DAY'S SESSION Immediately upon convening Vice-President Charles S. Chandler addressed the meeting on the subject Special Verdicts in Jury Trials. The roll of officers being called the following reported present: Vice-President Charles S. Chandler, Treasurer Robert M. Price and Secretary Edward F. Lunsford. Honorable A. E. Cheney moved, seconded by J. L. Vanderwerker, that the minutes of the previous meeting be corrected on page 31 of the typewritten report of the same, as follows: So that the last sentence in the paragraph near the bottom of page 43 of the printed minutes shall read: The motion of W. A. Massey that the next annual meeting be held at Reno was carried. Motion carried. After this correction the minutes of the foregoing meeting were approved without reading. Mr. Richards then moved, seconded by Mr. Hugh M. Brown that the Association express its regrets at the illness of President George S. Brown and his inability to be present. Motion carried. Mr. L. A. Gibbons moved that a committee of five be appointed to make nominations for the following year and to report as soon as possible at this session. Mr. Poujade, seconded by J. B. Dixon, offered as a substitute for above motion that nominations be made in open meeting. Mr. James D. Finch then moved, seconded by Mr. Richards, that the substitute motion be laid on the table indefinitely. This motion...
