CHARLES A. SUYDAM, Assistant Adjutant General.. Comrade.. I have the honor to submit herewith the report of the office of Assistant Quartermaster General for the fiscal year now closing. Notwithstanding the decrease in membership, our finances are in good condition, we are studying economy as far as we can, without jeopardizing the interest of the Department. Year after year is gliding into the retreating perspective of the past, but the year about to close, has been one of splendid memories, mingling and grasping the hand of my Comrades and getting in closer touch during our declining years, it was very gratifying to see the interest manifested by the Comrades of the different Posts, during the official visit of Department Commander. I appreciate the great honor conferred one year ago, at Easton, Penna. by Department Commander William T. Powell, in selecting me as his Assistant Quartermaster General, and take this opportunity of thanking him for the confidence reposed in me; his genial manner has made thousands of friends in the Department, also thanking yqu for the many courtesies received, may you survive many more summers and winters, in order that you may continue the good work for this Department, I desire also to thank Comrade John' N. Reber, Department Clerk, for his untiring devotion to duty, and his many courtesies extended to ...
