Minutes of the meeting of the Advisory Board of Consulting Engineers held in Albany, X. Y., December 5, 1907. Board met at 9 A. M. Present: Mr. Bond, Chairman Mr. Barnes, Mr. Brackenridge, Mr. Fry, Col. Symons. Minutes of the meeting of December-i, 1907, were read, corrected and approved. The Chairman presented a letter dated December 4, 1907, from George W. Oatley, President Utica Chamber of Commerce, asking that a hearing be given to the citizens of Utica represented by the Utica Chamber of Commerce, regarding the final location of the Barge Canal line through the city of Utica. The Chairman was requested to write Mr. Oatley that the Board would be able to give a hearing at a subsequent meeting thereof. The State Engineer presented plans, specifications and engineer's preliminary estimate of cost for Contract No. 26 for dredging a channel in the Hudson river, approved by him December 2, 1907. The plans, specifications and estimate of cost were examined and discussed by the Board, and it was on motion Resolved, That the plans, specifications and engineer's preliminary estimate of cost for Contract No. 26, for dredging a channel in the Hudson river between the south end of Contract No. 27, Station 1247, at Fort Edward, and the north end of Contract 'No. 1, Station 1286+23, length 0.76 mile, sheets 1 to 6 inclusive, approved by the State Engineer December 2, 1907, be hereby approved, and that the Chairman be requested to sign the certificate of such approval.
