The story is excellent, it has intrigue at many levels. The descriptions when the main characters became wolves were fabulous; everything from the running to mating. It felt so real as described it felt as if I was experiencing it as I read along. Best Lori Laidlaw so far I can't wait to read more.
Princess Weds Killer = Fake News wasn't planned. The first book, Lockdown + 3 Alphas = Heat, was written as a standalone. But the main characters insist there is more to their story. For starters they got married.
Lake, aka Tó, is a street-savvy American Omega with a mysterious past. Antal is a psycho criminal Hungarian Alpha. They're both wolf-shifters whose only common language is blood-lust and steamy sex.
Tó is getting Antal's beast under control but that's a work-in-progress. The two of them are slightly less bloodthirsty this time as they battle against shifter royalty, a renegade pack, and a false murder accusation.
