PRINCE PATCHES and Ella the Halo Butterfly is about a little Maltese Shih Tzu dog named Prince Patches, also known as Patches, and a beautiful Halo Butterfly named Ella. Ella flies in front of Prince Patches while he's looking up at the trees. Ella wears a colorful halo around her head, and her wings are both butterfly and angel wings. She is a talking and singing butterfly. Patches and Ella become lifetime friends and their fascinating adventure begins.
Ella is an angel that comes down from Heaven and while flying in the woods, she meets PRINCE PATCHES, a friend to the end but not the end of friends.
This book teaches children about friendship and grief. It helps children in a very warm way to understand grief without being afraid.
