The Priest, A Poem by Mary Elizabeth Budgett is a work of Victorian religious poetry that explores themes of faith, duty, and spiritual reflection. Budgett's verse offers a contemplative look into the life and role of a priest, examining his relationship with his community and his devotion to God. The poem provides a window into the religious sentiments and literary styles prevalent in 19th-century England.
