Not illustrated. 1731 Excerpt: ...no one having undertaken to trace his Steps with regard to the rest, Mr. Scbultens has taken the Pains to add his Remarks. At the fame time he has translated two other Dissertations into Latin likewise, with Remarks. These are then the three Dissertations or Qonsessus, -of which we have given the Title above. The Work-taken together pastes, with regard to the Subject, for a fort of Romance, which is never the less agreeable, be it for the Stile or the Fiction, and contains an excellent Moral. It serves even to explain a great many Passages of Scripture, in the Psalms, the Proverbs, Solomon's Song, Daniel, Esams, &c. It is no wonder therefore if Mr. Schdtens be intreated to continue the Translation of this Work, as well as of the History of SaMin.
