If you've ever found yourself broken, disappointed, confused, or hurt then this book is for you. Sometimes we forget that our Father knows our pain and never leaves us there. This book reminds us how to allow God to use us for His glory even amidst brokenness and when we don't feel like we are useable. God is faithful in all circumstances. Through scripture and poems this book lifts hearts to worship Christ and focus on His goodness, forgiveness, grace, and mercy. Through Christ there is nothing we can't accomplish. Inspired by God, this book is evidence that God can and will use all that we go through to glorify His name. I began writing after a Christian leader revealed that I would be a part of a book project that 9 different women wrote paralleling their lives with that of a Biblical woman. During that project the Lord opened a door for me to write for Life Way's You curriculum in 2016. The testimony of my life is that God can and will draw you closer to Him no matter your background, mistakes, or brokenness. He will develop the gifts He has given you so you can glorify His name. I am blessed to be the mother of one son and three daughters who God has allowed me to rear to live lives that honor Him. We are not perfect but we are pleased to be used by Him. I enjoy reading, writing, helping others, and teaching. I am a physician by trade and my practice focuses on Spiritual, physical, and mental health as I believe they are all interconnected. I am a very active member and leader of Word Tabernacle Church.
