Preparation For Total Consecration According To St. Louis Marie De Montfort is a spiritual guidebook written by St. Louis-Marie de Montfort, a French priest and theologian known for his devotion to the Virgin Mary. The book is designed to help readers prepare for total consecration to Jesus through Mary, a spiritual practice that involves dedicating oneself entirely to the service of God with the help of Mary as a guide and intercessor. The book is divided into three parts: the first part provides an introduction to the practice of total consecration and explains its significance in the spiritual life. The second part is a 33-day preparation program, which includes daily readings, prayers, and meditations designed to help readers deepen their understanding of the consecration process and to prepare them for the final act of consecration. The third and final part of the book contains the actual prayer of consecration, which readers can recite as a formal act of dedication.Throughout the book, St. Louis-Marie de Montfort emphasizes the importance of humility, detachment, and self-surrender as essential elements of the consecration process. He also stresses the role of Mary as a powerful intercessor and guide in the spiritual life, encouraging readers to turn to her for guidance and support on their journey towards total consecration. Overall, Preparation For Total Consecration According To St. Louis Marie De Montfort is a comprehensive guide to a powerful spiritual practice that has been embraced by Catholics around the world for centuries. It is a valuable resource for anyone seeking to deepen their relationship with God and to grow in their devotion to Mary as a source of strength and inspiration.Contents: Spirit of the World; Knowledge of Self; Knowledge of Our Lady; Knowledge of Christ. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
