Precious Pearl: A Dark, Gritty Irish Traveller Romance

Humiliated and cast aside by Declan Furey, Pearl Connors is on the run, leaving everything she knows and loves behind for the dirty, lonely streets of London. She is lost, hopping between homeless shelters and just trying to survive from one day to the next.

After a chance meeting with a dancer who empathises with her plight, Pearl finds herself working at a strip club for money. The club is more than it seems, a money laundering front for a far-reaching, successful drug empire, and Pearl soon catches the attention of the man behind it all, the wealthy and dangerous Alistair Windsor-Moore.

Suffering at the hand of his own demons and keen to claim Pearl as his own, Alistair buys Pearl's attention, paying her handsomely to live with him in his high-end London penthouse and satisfy his unusual urges.

Alistair is everything Pearl has ever wanted - dark, delicious and dangerous - but she is haunted by her past rejection. The two become infatuated with one another, though Pearl's shameful secrets are a constant wall between them.

Alistair is not the kind of man that is used to not getting what he wants and when he decides he wants Pearl, he stops at nothing to get her, proving once and for all that one man's trash truly is another's treasure.
