The Psalms is a book that deals with personal reality. We see the Psalmist as he deals with the situations and struggles of the Christian experience. We also see the Psalmist joyful and jubilant as he finds the Lord (whom he serves) to be sufficient in the trials and tests of life. We as followers of the Lord Jesus find ourselves in similar situations as we continue on our journey home. It is not difficult to place yourself in the shoes of David as he dealt with the various dilemmas of life.
