What is taught in most churches today is not even remotely close to what the real or the true gospel is. If you have been born again (or if you have not been) but feel discouraged, have a poor self-image and/or you are not operating in the supernatural power of God as a co-laborer with Jesus and the Holy Spirit - it's time to forget most of what you were taught and get ready for the good news. What Being Saved Really Means We have been taught that salvation is about having our sins forgiven so that we can go to Heaven one day. But the truth is that God's intention and what Jesus paid includes a lot more than that. What the word saved (in the Greek sozo') means: saved, healed, delivered, protected, preserved, made whole and kept safe and sound. That's what is really meant when God's word tells us that He didn't send His Son to condemn the world but that through Him all men might be saved. This book teaches believers what the real gospel is and how to operate in God's power as His children bringing the kingdom of God into the lives of those around us. The book also provides several short stories about the miraculous healings the author has seen when praying for people on the street. This is an ideal book for use in small groups or to give to the new believer or anyone who doesn't know the power of the true gospel and who they are in Jesus.
