GIA endured traumas inflicted by predators throughout her life. She subconsciously created a protective S-hero alter ego that gave her the ability feign strength similar to a superhero. She martyred herself to protect others and shielded loved ones by covering up dangerous situations. She made self-sacrificing moves to protect her family when she perceived danger. On the surface, she had the bells and whistles that represented success, with one exception. She never felt safe. Haunted by a sense of looming tragedy, she lived with perpetual anxiety. Forgetting gave her the power to move from one tragedy to the next. It worked until a former lover cracked her armor. Memories of abandonment, rape, and attempted murder flooded her mind like a tsunami uncovering emotional scars and debris left by past hurts. Her worldview was altered forcing her into a new reality. Gia was forced to REMEMBER! Will she survive?
