Ruth Finley was a wife, mother, and ordinary woman living in Wichita, Kansas, in the late 1970s. Her life seemed calm, until the letters began. It shows how fear can change the mind, how reality can feel uncertain, and how survival can depend on understanding the mind itself. When the truth was finally revealed, it challenged everything Ruth thought she knew about herself and the danger around her.
