Planetary Influences and Therapeutic Uses of Precious Stones is a comprehensive guide to the healing properties of gemstones and their relationship to astrology. Written by George Frederick Kunz, a renowned mineralogist and gemologist, this book delves into the mystical and metaphysical aspects of gemstones, exploring their connections to the planets and their effects on human health and wellbeing. The book begins with an overview of the history of gemstones and their use in various cultures throughout the ages. It then delves into the astrological correspondences of each gemstone, discussing the planetary influences that are believed to be associated with them. The author also provides detailed descriptions of each gemstone's physical and metaphysical properties, including their color, hardness, and energetic qualities. In addition to discussing the therapeutic uses of gemstones, the book also explores their use in jewelry and other decorative arts. The author provides practical advice on how to select and care for gemstones, as well as how to use them in meditation and other spiritual practices.Overall, Planetary Influences and Therapeutic Uses of Precious Stones is an invaluable resource for anyone interested in the healing properties of gemstones and their connections to astrology and spirituality. Whether you are a professional healer or simply interested in exploring the mystical world of gemstones, this book is sure to provide you with a wealth of knowledge and inspiration. The talismanic influences of the stones associated with the planets and also with the signs of the zodiac is closely connected with the early ideas regarding the formation of precious stones. The author proceeds to describe an analogous relation between a man and any natural object or product to which his imagination draws him, and shows that, if the object be one that stands in a sympathetic relation with the star beneath which the man was born, the man, the star and the object will constitute a triplicity of great utility. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
