Testimony is knowing that the Plan of Salvation is true by the witness of the Spirit, but we are converted when by faith we obey its principles and applications. It is not enough to simply believe in the Plan of God, because belief is only the mental assent to the validity of its laws and doctrine, but without the moral element of responsibility that we call faith. We believe that there is one God, and by so doing, we do well. But the devils also believe and tremble. (James 2:19). Faith is dead, in a sense, or it is of no value, if it has not been accompanied by the performance required of disciples of Jesus Christ. I have written these daily devotionals in the hope that they will provide encouragement during our journey to the veil, where we will kneel at the feet of the Savior, Who will call us by name, saying, Well done thou good and faithful servant. Thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things. Enter thou into the joy of thy lord. (Matthew 25:21).
