Starting school can be scary, especially when you are the smallest dinosaur on the playground!
Little Dino just wants to make friends, but the bigger dinosaurs-like T-Rex and Triceratops-are too busy running, roaring, and showing off. Relegated to the sidelines, Little Dino quietly hides his special talents.
Everything changes when the recess ball gets stuck high up in the school tree. T-Rex's arms are too short, and Stegosaurus's tail is too clumsy! Suddenly, Little Dino realizes that the exact things that make him different are the things that make him special. With a little bravery and some help from a tiny lizard friend, Dino climbs higher than he ever thought possible.
Perfect for ages 3-7, this beautiful book teaches young readers about:
Overcoming shyness and school anxiety
The value of inclusion and apologizing
Discovering that everyone has unique, special talents
Join Little Dino as he learns that true friendship isn't about how loud you can roar, but how big your heart is.
