Author Jeanie Cline, along with co-author Chuck Troutman and their classmates, turn back the pages of time to the years of the amazing 50's. They stroll down memory lane recalling fun times at Lenoir Jr. High School followed by four wonderful years at Lenoir High School in North Carolina. Chuck documents the remarkable period of the students' dedication to music and their band directors' outstanding and sympathetic leadership - all of which result in band recognition with multiple honors. Jeanie shares contributed stories from their peers' memories about hardships, friendships, romantic adventures, and other personal experiences. Pitch Perfect in the 50's is a diversified seven-year journey the reader will enjoy with added fervor while learning how these students lived in a small town in Lenoir, North Carolina during the mid-20th Century.
