Since the 1970s, people have been asking questions about the second narrative, the narrative of the Wampanoag people, the native Americans who sat down opposite the Pilgrims that very first Thanksgiving all those hundreds of years ago. Each of these narratives is as important as the other, and the Pilgrims can't really be understood without examining them in the context of the Wampanoag people and the direct impact both parties had on one another.
