A pilgrim is a traveler, one who stays in a place temporarily, but who has a set destination. As pilgrims, our motto should be Just passing through! We should avoid getting too attached to earthly things because this is merely our temporary home. Life is a journey and earth is not our final destination. We, like Father Abraham, are looking for our permanent, eternal home-a city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God (Heb. 11:10).
