Pieces of Me is a powerful, cathartic glimpse into the struggles and victories of the authors. Pieces of Me contains stories from students in Kenya that accessed Writing for the Soul Workshop(TM) and their peers from around the world. #amwritingIn less than a year, TGIM published the first book in the Pieces of Me Series by participants of Writing for the Soul Workshop from our site in Joplin, Missouri. If you've never seen at-risk youth sign their first autograph, let me tell you ...it is amazing. On the day of release, our young authors sold out at Hastings Entertainment. It was sheer circumstance that I stumbled upon these writers last year, and the book that they wrote is now a powerful addition to my library. I would encourage any out there with an interest in reading to support this program and these youth. The glimpses into the resiliency of the soul just might change your life. -Benji Tunnell, Joplin Globe
