This book presents the Zone System as developed by Ansel Adams more than forty years ago and it is a means of exposure mainly developed for precise exposure of black and white film and changing contrast through film development. Parts of it can also be used for color and I will also go into digital techniques. We all are familiar with the beautiful mountain scenes created by Ansel Adam's and they were made using the Zone System.
