It's Tommy's turn to pick out the family Christmas tree this year. His idea of the perfect tree differs from his family members. He won't stop until he finds his vision of the perfect tree. Sprig is an imperfect Christmas tree awaiting a family to love him. Through positivity and perseverance, both hope to find what they are looking for. In this beautifully illustrated, heartwarming story, the reader learns there is no such thing as perfect.
A wonderful story to illicit a conversation about embracing disabilities and differences with young readers as well as self-confidence, self-love, and unrealistic expectations children put on themselves to be perfect. No singular template for perfection exists. Our imperfections are what makes us special and what makes us Perfect.
